Hidden Bupyeong jokbal-alley house for soft, mild special jokbal served with salt
A hidden jokbal restaurant in the inner lane of the Bupyeong jokbal alley. There is no dedicated parking, so use a nearby paid lot when driving. The first, second, and upper half-floor spaces make it possible to settle into a more private-feeling group table.
The signature is special jokbal. Instead of a heavy sweet-soy glaze, it keeps the pork mild, warm, and soft, then lets salt bring out the savory side. The skin stays chewy, the lean meat stays tender, and the flavor lands closer to clean suyuk than to a strongly seasoned jokbal plate.
Cold mustard jokbal is also restrained: cucumber, jellyfish, onion, and mustard sauce refresh the pork without becoming sharply spicy. Add bibim noodles or doenjang stew if the table is drinking.
It was mentioned on Jeon Hyun-moo Plan, so dinner peak hours can bring a wait. The room posts a two-hour dining limit during busy periods, and later evening is calmer. It suits friends, family meals, and company dinners, especially for people who prefer gentle pork flavor over loud sweet-salty jokbal.
