The Star Buffet

A large buffet on the second basement level of The Sharp Central Star in Seomyeon, known locally as the Jung Joon-ho buffet after the actor who runs it. Beomnaegol Station is a slightly shorter walk than Seomyeon Station, and parking is covered for two hours with a self-registration kiosk by the exit.

Live stations carry the meal: lamb chops and beef steak grilled to order, aglio e olio and carbonara made fresh, and a sushi counter with tuna cut by section. Around them sit sashimi, beef tendon soup, pork ribs, boiled pork, Chinese dishes, rice noodles, cold buckwheat noodles, pastries, cakes, and fruit. Each guest may order two drinks, coffee or tea or calamansi, and takeout cups are allowed.

Adult prices run 39,000 won for weekday lunch (Wed-Fri), 48,000 won for weekday dinner, 48,000 won for weekend lunch, and 50,000 won for weekend dinner, with tax included and no service charge. From 1 October 2026 these rise to 43,000, 52,000, 52,000, and 54,000 won. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays, with break times that differ by day, so check before going.
