The main Sunssalppang shop sits in the Samik Beach B shopping arcade, linking the southern end of Gwangalli with Namcheon’s bakery route. Customers can use the arcade’s surface parking, though weekday evenings and weekends can fill it; Suyeong-gu Office or nearby paid lots are alternatives.
The shop says it uses no wheat flour and makes every product with Korean rice, a formula used here since 2003. The texture is soft, lightly chewy, and restrained in sweetness. Anyone avoiding cross-contact for a wheat allergy or coeliac disease should still ask about the production environment.
Cheese chiffon is the strongest starting point: airy, moist rice sponge with gentle cheese flavour. Rice rolls, pound cakes, salt bread, bagels, Mont Blanc, tarts, sandwiches, fig, pumpkin, mugwort, barley, and house-cooked red-bean products cover both children’s snacks and gifts for parents.
There are no indoor seats, only a few outdoor terrace places. Coffee, tea, and bingsu are available. The long schedule suits morning walks and late takeaway, but popular loaves and cakes can thin out by early evening.
