소다미김밥
PNU gimbap shop from Master of Living, known for wasabi-soy dipping
A long-running gimbap shop in the Pusan National University area, about eight minutes from PNU Station Exit 3. There is no dedicated parking; drivers usually plan around the PNU campus parking lot or the NC Department Store lot. Payment is cash or bank transfer only, so do not arrive expecting card payment.
The first order to understand the shop is the mixed gimbap, sold from two servings. It lets you try Sodami gimbap, cheese gimbap, and tuna gimbap on one plate. The Sodami roll is a nude-gimbap style with mayonnaise and crab flavor, and dipping it in wasabi soy sauce makes it feel closer to a light sushi roll.
The cheese roll is simple and nutty from cheddar and egg, while tuna and bulgogi rolls keep the filling flavor clear. The rice is on the fluffy side rather than heavy, so the rolls stay easy to eat. Jin ramyeon or tteokbokki turns it into a proper PNU snack meal.
Even after TV attention, the room still feels like a small neighborhood bunsik shop with only a handful of tables. Peak times can bring a wait, but gimbap turnover is fairly quick. It suits solo meals, student lunches, takeout, and a light PNU food stop.
