Choeup lunch-only Sichuan jjajang spot with generous old-school tangsuyuk

About

A lunch-only old Chinese restaurant in a Choeup side street. Parking around the shop is possible in practice, but the alley gets tight at peak time, so walking in is often calmer.

The Sichuan jjajang uses a red sauce with seafood savor and a slow-building heat. It does not only hit hard; the spice keeps rising as the noodles disappear.

The sweet-and-sour pork is generous and old-school, often enough with one noodle dish for two people. Since there is no delivery or takeout focus, plan it as a sit-down lunch.

The dishes worth knowing: Sichuan jjajang large KRW 9,500 · Seafood gan-jjajang KRW 9,500 · Sweet-and-sour pork KRW 22,000 · Rice KRW 1,000. Seasonal swaps happen, so the posted menu is what counts.
