Four-hour lunch service in Jangan with whole spicy octopus, garden-grown wraps, and broad parking
A lunch-only restaurant on the Gijang-daero highway between Jangan Temple and Jangan IC, much easier by car than public transport. A broad gravel forecourt provides dedicated parking, and the route pairs naturally with Busan Premium Outlets. Since ingredients can sell out during the four-hour service, call about a late lunch or the room for parties of six or more.
The hall is modest but tables are well spaced, with a separate room for meals with parents, workplace lunches, and groups. It feels more like a tidy, quiet local dining room than a date spot. Side dishes and warm soup can be refilled at the self-service counter, while lettuce and other wraps are grown in the restaurant garden.
Whole spicy octopus is KRW 12,000 per person, while the KRW 13,000 octopus-and-pork-belly version adds samgyeopsal; stir-fries require at least two portions. Cut the thick, springy octopus with scissors. The sauce carries a light smoky note and savoury heat without becoming sweet, ideal mixed into rice with seasoned radish, bean sprouts, and seaweed flakes or wrapped in fresh lettuce.
Shrimp costs KRW 4,000, steamed egg KRW 3,000, and udon KRW 2,000. Reviews say rice is included, though the portion can feel small and an extra bowl costs KRW 1,000. The heat is reported just below Buldak noodles, so spice-sensitive diners and families with children should add steamed egg and soup.
