Namhae Dwaeji Gukbap

남해돼지국밥

Banyeo-dong pork soup with bone-broth depth, seasoned chives, and strong kimchi

About

A neighborhood pork soup restaurant on Seonsuchon-ro in Banyeo-dong. Use the dedicated lot across the street, and the front spaces are noted as usable from 12:00 to 14:00. It feels like a local regulars’ place rather than a polished tourist room.

Regular gukbap comes with rice already in the soup, while ttaro gukbap keeps the rice separate. The broth is made with domestic fresh pork and pork bone according to the shop notes, giving it a clean, gomtang-like body. Red seasoning is usually added from the start, so ask before ordering if you want it left out.

The seasoned chives are the key side, especially for people who dislike plain raw chives in pork soup shops. Kimchi and kkakdugi are served in jars so you take what you need, and both cut through the broth well; kimchi takeaway is not offered.

Kids gukbap, sundae gukbap, and small sundae make it practical for families, parents, and older guests. Takeout is available across the menu, but gukbap takeout starts from two servings. It is a useful rainy-day bowl or Banyeo-dong local meal when parking matters.
