Its signature pastry is laminated to resemble wound thread. The salt bread is crisp outside and soft and moist within, with a clear butter-and-salt finish. The larger salt loaf tears cleanly along its layers. Fresh batches are posted for 10:00, 12:00, 15:00, and 17:00.
The savoury sausage pastry wraps springy green-chilli sausage with Emmental and chilli sauce. Rocher croissant combines almond chocolate, milk cream, and Nutella, while macadamia chocolate pie adds dense butter filling and crunchy nuts. Cream-filled pastries are substantial enough to count as full desserts.
Dubai, pistachio, pollack roe, garlic, and ham-cheese variations make the range broad. A few tables allow a quick drink, but takeaway dominates. Popular thread breads and cream pastries can sell out by noon even though the shop closes late.
