Jinmi Dwaeji Gukbap

진미돼지국밥

Bupyeong local toryeom pork soup with soybean-paste seasoning and plenty of chives

About

A local pork soup restaurant on Bupyeong 1-gil, close to Kkangtong Market and the jokbal alley. There is no dedicated parking, so use a nearby public lot if driving.

The bowl is served toryeom-style, with rice warmed through in the broth before it comes out. Ask in advance if you want it hotter, or order ttaro gukbap if you prefer rice and soup separately.

The table seasoning is distinctive: saeujeot comes with soybean paste, and loosening a little paste into the broth adds savory depth without making the soup feel heavy. The basic seasoning paste is already on top, but it is not aggressively spicy.

Dwaeji gukbap and mixed gukbap are KRW 9,000, with generous chives underneath the bowl. Choose it for Nampo-dong hangover soup, a market lunch, solo dining, or a local-feeling pork soup stop instead of a chain restaurant.
