Baegunpo local mulhoe and hoe-deopbap spot with Tabling queue and basic spicy fish soup

About

A local mulhoe and hoe-deopbap restaurant on Baegunpo-ro in Nam-gu, on the road down toward Baegunpo Sports Park. There are dedicated parking areas in front and behind the building, while busy days often spill over to Baegunpo Public Parking Lot or roadside parking. The first floor handles waiting and reception, and the dining room is upstairs on the second floor.

The main orders are mulhoe and hoe-deopbap. Mulhoe sauce comes separately, so you can pour as much as you like and see the seafood clearly before mixing. The special version adds abalone, while sea cucumber and sekkoshi give the bowl a chewy, nutty texture. The cold broth is sweet-spicy, with pear and cucumber adding crunch.

Hoe-deopbap uses thick-cut raw fish rather than tiny scraps, so it still has bite after mixing with rice. Add the bean sprouts or seaweed-stem side dish if you want a fuller bowl. Rice is included, somyeon noodles are ordered separately, and the basic spicy fish soup helps warm up the table after the cold mulhoe.

Weekend lunch queues can start early, so remote Tabling is the practical move before arrival. The room is wider than the exterior suggests, turnover is fairly quick, and the upstairs window seats feel open even though they are not a direct sea-view table. It fits a Baegunpo Sports Park meal, family lunch, friends, and a cool seafood stop on a South Busan route.
