Jeju-style momguk, gosari hangover soup, and house blood sausage in Yeonsan-dong
A Jeju-style soup and sundae restaurant in a quiet lane off Anyeon-ro 8beon-gil in Yeonje-gu. There is no dedicated parking, so only a very small amount of curbside luck is available and nearby parking must be found separately. For the Togok and Yeonsan area, walking is the cleaner plan. The room is a clean neighborhood dining room with around ten tables and some group seating.
The signatures are Jeju momguk and gosari haejangguk. Momguk uses pork broth with gulfweed and buckwheat powder, giving the soup a lightly thick, nutty texture. Gosari haejangguk is a thicker fernbrake-and-meat soup that feels close to the Jeju hangover-soup style many travelers remember.
Jeju momguk is around KRW 9,000 and gosari haejangguk around KRW 10,000, while pork gukbap and sundae gukbap keep it usable as an everyday soup stop. The house sundae is often described like handmade blood sausage, so Jeju-style sundae, sundae hot pot, and boiled pork are natural next orders. Takeout is noted for all menu items.
Basic sides include kkakdugi, cabbage kimchi, chives, garlic, onion, chili, salted shrimp, and seasoning sauces. Gosari haejangguk can feel mild at first, so tune it with salted shrimp, chili powder, pepper, or the house seasoning. It suits solo meals, rainy-day hangover soup, a Jeju-food craving in Busan, and takeout momguk.
