Yeonji-dong clear pork soup with suyuk set meal, noodle add-on, and a local regulars feel
A pork soup restaurant tucked into the Yeonji-dong market-lane area of Busanjin-gu. There is no dedicated parking, and the surrounding alley spaces are tight, so public transit is easier at meal times. The room is larger than the storefront suggests, with enough seats for groups or work meals.
The useful part of the menu is the flat price: pork, offal, sundae, mixed, and assorted gukbap are all around KRW 9,000. The assorted bowl gives you pork, offal, and sundae in one soup, with enough ingredients that every spoon feels substantial. The broth is milky-looking but clean, and it comes alive after you season it with salted shrimp.
The boiled-pork set meal, around KRW 11,000, is the order to add on a first visit. The pork is sliced thick, soft, and free of porky smell. Dip it briefly in the vinegared soy-style sauce, then eat it with kimchi, onion, or rice for a fuller meal.
The KRW 1,000 noodle add-on is worth ordering. Drop the noodles into the hot broth and add a slice of suyuk, and the bowl starts to feel like pork noodles as much as gukbap. Broth refills are available, making it strong for solo dining, hangover soup, a Yeonji-dong lunch, or a clean pork soup meal with parents.
