Guseo Old Samgyeopsal

구서옛날삼겹살

Guseo pork BBQ room with cauldron-lid samgyeopsal and pork galbi finished with potato noodles

About

A pork BBQ restaurant in the Daeheung Apartment commercial row on Geumgang-ro, close to Guseo Station. There is no dedicated lot, but the restaurant notes one-hour support at Gil Parking, the lot connected to Gil Rent Car at 426 Geumgang-ro. The inside is larger than the exterior suggests, with regular tables, floor seating rooms, and a ssam-vegetable self bar.

The main orders are samgyeopsal and marinated pork galbi. Samgyeopsal is KRW 10,000 for 120g, with a three-serving minimum for the first order; mixed meat orders need two servings of each item. Pork cooks on a cauldron-lid grill with aged kimchi, gosari, and vegetables around the edge.

The pork has little odor and keeps enough juice to work with wasabi, chili-seasoned jeotgal, and the chopped-scallion ssamjang. Pork galbi is also KRW 10,000 for 150g and is often cooked by staff. Its sweet-salty sauce calls for rice, and the potato noodle add-on is fun, though it can turn salty as the sauce reduces.

Spicy mixed noodles are the side to pair with samgyeopsal, while cold noodles and country doenjang jjigae round out the table. The room works for friends, family dinners, and Guseo-area company meals. Around the 19:00 dinner peak, even the floor seating can fill, so groups should move early.
