Nostalgic old-school Seodong donkatsu, better for mood and memory than a strict flavor ranking

About

A long-running old-school Korean donkatsu restaurant in the Seodong Station and Seodong Miro Market area. It used to sit inside the market and now operates from Seobu-ro 10beon-gil. There is no confirmed dedicated parking, so public transit or nearby paid parking is the cleaner plan.

The mood starts with the classic western-style soup, cabbage salad, and self-serve kkakdugi. The kkakdugi is unusually memorable for a donkatsu shop and helps reset the palate between fried bites. Plates come with rice and old-style spaghetti, giving the meal the full retro gyeongyangsik shape.

The basic order is the house donkatsu. This is not a refined Japanese katsu; it is crisp, sauced, lemon-topped Korean western-style pork cutlet. The sauce has more personality than a plain snack-shop sauce, and the hamburg omurice is useful when you want both hamburg steak and omurice on one plate.

The menu is wide, covering hot-plate cheese donkatsu, assorted pork/fish/chicken cutlets, classic hamburg steak, cheese oven spaghetti, and pork-rib steak. The rib steak is fun once, but the clearer repeat orders are donkatsu and hamburg omurice. Choose it for family meals, kids, parents, and a nostalgic Seodong meal rather than a strict best-donkatsu ranking.
