Central-dong charcoal grill for cubed beef anchangsal with juicy bite and smoky local energy

About

A Central-dong charcoal beef grill on the first floor of 19-1 Haegwan-ro, about a five-minute walk from Jungang Station exits 1 or 3. The building has a paid parking tower, so transit is easier if the table will involve drinks.

Dinner peak hours use the on-site Catch Table waiting device in front of the shop. Reservations are available from four people, including same-day reservations, but only before 18:30 on weekdays and before 17:30 on weekends and public holidays.

The menu is intentionally narrow: cubed beef anchangsal, called kkakdugi, at KRW 14,000 per 100g. The thick cube cut keeps the meat juicy, takes on charcoal aroma quickly, and is best eaten as soon as the outside is cooked instead of letting it toughen on the grill.

Sides are simple but useful: green salad, onion pickles, sweet-sour noodles, and sesame oil with minced garlic. Cold naengmyeon and doenjang jjigae finish the table well, while the relaxed local room suits company dinners, business gatherings, friends, and family meals with high chairs available and corkage charged.
