Songjeong salt-bread cafe near the beach, known for butter salt bread, salt coffee, and a rooftop view
A salt-bread cafe on Songjeonggwang-eogol-ro, about five minutes on foot from Songjeong Beach and across from the Songjeong Twosome Place area. It pairs well with a Songjeong beach walk, a run, a Gijang drive, or the Haedong Yonggungsa route. Parking directly in front and beside the shop is only around two or three cars, so Songjeong street public parking is the safer plan.
The first floor holds ordering, kiosks, bakery shelves, and a visible baking area. The second floor has seating, restrooms, blankets, and chargers in a modern black-toned room. The rooftop has a good Songjeong view, but no shade, so it is more realistic in mild weather; on weekends, check seats upstairs before ordering.
Salt bread is the reason to come. Butter salt bread is the core order, with crisp outside, moist inside, and strong butter aroma. Glazed salt bread is sweeter and crispier, while garlic, custard cream, soboro, chocolate ganache, mocha, truffle squid-ink, red-bean butter, and matcha mascarpone versions make it a useful bread-gift stop too.
Salt coffee layers sweet cream and bokbunja salt over Americano for a distinctly salty-sweet drink. Americano also gets strong review notes, and peach smoothie plus butter salt-bread ice cream make a good summer dessert pair. Some flavors sell out by late afternoon, and review or notification events have included ice cream or dipping sauce.
