Daejeong Yang Gopchang Main Branch

대정양곱창 본관

Jagalchi Station offal-alley main branch for salt grill, seasoned pan, udon, and fried rice

About

The main Daejeong Yang Gopchang branch is a four-minute walk from Jagalchi Station Exit 3, at 31 Junggu-ro 23beon-gil. There is no dedicated parking; the practical lots are Gwangbok-ro Bupyeong-dong street public parking about two minutes away, Gukje Market-ro 1-gu street public parking about three minutes away, or Bosu-dong Book Alley public parking about thirteen minutes away.

The main branch uses two floors: smaller groups usually land on the first floor or outdoor tables, while the second floor works better for groups. The new branch and annex sit close by in the same alley, so they are useful when the main branch is crowded. Outdoor tables are the most competitive on mild evenings.

The menu stays focused on salt grill, stone-plate seasoning, and hot pot. Start with salt grill if it is your first visit: yeomtong is best first with sesame oil and salt, yang brings the chewy texture, and daechang gives the rich juicy finish that needs onion pickles or cabbage pickles beside it.

For a full table, move from salt grill to the seasoned pan, then add udon and fried rice. Fried rice belongs after the seasoned pan or hot pot, not after salt grill. Wear an apron for the seasoned pan because the sauce and oil can splash; this is a strong Nampo pick for friends, family meals, business dinners, and late-night drinks.
