Daeyeon self-made udon noodles with shrimp tempura udon and Chungmu gimbap
A Daeyeon-dong udon shop on UN Pyeonghwa-ro, about 130 meters from Daeyeon Station Exit 3. It pairs naturally with Busan Cultural Center, UN Memorial Park, or a nearby exhibition before lunch or dinner. For parking support, use Gagahoho Parking Lot, Ashure Parking Lot, or Goryeo Hospital Parking Lot; meals over KRW 20,000 receive one hour of support.
The main orders are Dada udon at KRW 5,500 and shrimp tempura udon at KRW 7,000. The broth is deep but clean, in an anchovy-and-kelp direction, and the house-made noodles are thick enough to feel springy and bouncy. Shrimp tempura udon comes with two shrimp tempura pieces, fish cake, and scallions, making it a strong warm-broth choice after drinks.
Fish-cake udon at KRW 6,500 is the gentler broth-first bowl, while soba at KRW 7,000 works better on hot days. Chungmu gimbap at KRW 6,000 comes with radish kimchi, spicy squid, and fish-cake stir-fry, and the regular gimbap at KRW 3,000 keeps solo lunches inexpensive. Small fish-cake hot pot and grilled dried pollack can turn the table into a light evening drinking table.
The room is wider than expected and well air-conditioned, so it is comfortable even in summer. Solo seats and child chairs make it useful for solo dining, families with children, dates, and a Daeyeon lunch built around warm noodles. Takeout and delivery are available, and the menu is better treated as noodles, gimbap, and light snacks than as a tonkatsu place.
