Handmade burgers by PNU, thick patties with plenty of juice
A handmade burger shop in an alley near Exit 1 of Busan National University Station. It moved from an upper floor into a converted one-story house, so it is easier to walk into now, and the American diner styling carries through the interior and the outdoor tables.
Seven burgers are on the board: cheese, bacon cheese, double classic cheese, Hawaiian, shrimp, bulgogi and jalapeno. The brioche bun arrives warm and soft and the patty is thick but moist. The most recommended order is the Hawaiian cheeseburger with an extra patty, where sweet pineapple and heavy cheese balance against the extra juice.
The shrimp burger uses fresh rather than frozen shrimp, so the bite stays springy under a crisp coating. The bulgogi burger pairs patty juices with a sweet bulgogi sauce, and both the bulgogi and shrimp burgers are exclusive to this original branch.
Sides are fries, sweet potato fries served with cream and vanilla sauce, and buffalo wings. Soft drinks in a set come with free refills. Hours are 11:30-20:00 daily with a 15:00-16:00 break and last orders at 14:30 and 19:30. There is no dedicated parking, so use the public lot south of the station and walk into the alley.
