Sasang kiln-grilled mackerel table with unlimited self-serve side dishes

About

A kiln-grilled fish restaurant on Gwangjang-ro 20beon-gil, within walking distance of Renecite Station Exit 1. Front parking fits only about four cars, so meal peaks can fill it quickly. Use the tower lot beside the shop or the roadside public parking lot, then receive KRW 1,000 parking support for one car per table. At dinner around 7 p.m. or lunch peak, on-site Tabling waiting can run about 20 to 30 minutes.

The signature is grilled mackerel at around KRW 13,000. Fish is cooked in a volcanic-stone kiln at high heat, giving a crisp skin and a moist center. The fishy smell stays low, the mackerel oil tastes clean, and the best bite is a piece of hot fish over white rice. If you want the fish itself, the grilled version is clearer than the braise.

The menu also covers seasoned grilled mackerel, atka mackerel, Spanish mackerel, hairtail, and aged-kimchi mackerel braise. The braise leans into kimchi and sauce, so it is stronger for rice than for tasting mackerel alone. Atka mackerel is gentler and softer, making it an easy choice with parents or older guests.

The self-serve bar is a real reason to come: japchae, spicy pork, mapo tofu, soft tofu, kimchi, nurungji, and sungnyung make the table feel closer to a full Korean meal than a single grilled fish plate. It works for parents, kids, family meals, friend lunches, and anyone who wants fish without cooking it at home.
